Nosing around for a cure
Ready to roll:
Nose Day and
A Jaffa race down the Ocean Boulevard
carpark ramp is one of the Napier activi-
ties planned for Cure Kids Red Nose Day
In 2010 Cure Kids brought back the
iconic day to help save and improve the
lives of thousands of sick Kiwi kids and
they are hoping that this year will be
bigger, better and redder than ever
Paper Plus Napier have filled their
window with red balloons as part of a
fundraising effort for the charity.
Store owner Karen Anderson says it
took a staff member two days to inflate
all the balloons, and nobody is even close
to guessing the correct number yet, so
make sure you come in, grab your red
nose and have a go .
The store s Jaffa race down the carpark
ramp involves 200 numbered Jaffas
available for purchase for a $2 donation.
Red noses are available from Paper
Plus and Take Note stores.
If wearing a nose yourself isn t your
style you can get one for your car or grab
a box of Jaffas instead.
