Wrestling with laughter

The Japan Society of Hawke's Bay
will screen the popular Japanese
comedy movie Gachi Boy on Sept-
Rated PG, the film is about a boy
with a condition that gives him
short-term memory loss, but who
takes up professional wrestling.
In conjunction with the film, the
society will provide okonomiyaki, a
Japanese snack from Osaka, and
society member Chieko Dietz has
been teaching students to make the
delicacy. Just before the screening
at 6.30pm, First Secretary of the
Japanese Embassy, Mr Ato, will
speak to viewers. Entry is by gold
