A group of local artists took
part in a printmaking work-

ously volunteered their time,

are responsible for this and I would ask
parents to be aware of what their kids are up
to and who they are hanging out with.
Too often kids get left to their own devices
to roam without any rules. Soon enough, a
more on to it ratbag kid will lead these little
ones astray, so please take note of what your
kids are up to, especially now that the
holidays are upon us.
On a more positive note, we held our
annual Maraenui Community Safety Day
last month at Pukemokimoki Marae.
This event is about promoting safety in
the home and on the streets and it was
attended by a number of our partner
agencies which are committed to improving
the safety of the community. A big thank you
goes to the marae for allowing us to host the
event and congratulations to Henry Hill
School for taking out the song competition.
